Seventeen rooms, a garden, and the valley up the road
The rooms are simple and spotless rather than showy. Every one has a private ensuite, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, a bar fridge and tea and coffee making, and the quieter ones sit toward the rear of the property away from the road.
The garden and courtyard are where most guests end up in the evening, usually with the BBQ going. Cessnock's main street is five minutes away and the Pokolbin cellar doors about ten, so the valley you can see in these photos is genuinely on the doorstep rather than a drive away.
